Apply your base coat. (you don't need a base coat, but I always use one.)
Once base coat is dry, apply one coat of your lighter color of polish
Take your make-up sponge and apply a stripe of your lighter color
Apply a stripe of your darker color right above the first stripe, making them overlap slightly.
Dab your makeup sponge on your nail.
Repeat steps 3-5 until you get the coverage you want.
Clean up around your nail using a qtip dipped in nail polish remover.
Repeat steps on all your nails and you're done! :)
The two OPI colors I used were Natural Nail Base Coat and Grape...Set...Match.
The Sally Hanson polish I used was Lacey Lilac.
